These kids and dozens like them need you to volunteer!

We Need YOU!

If you live anywhere in Planning District 16, we probably have a child waiting for you. We have boys in Ruther Glen and King George, as well as Massaponax, out Route 3 in Spotsylvania, South Stafford and Fredericksburg. We need all races and ethnicities and ages 18 and older!

We have girls waiting in zip codes 22401, 22407 & 22408. We have a great need for African American women and we have a 16 year old Caucasian girl in the City who needs someone very, very special.

Don't be overwhelmed by how many children are waiting - we only need you to help one child. Spend one to two hours a week, talking, playing sports, spending time together, doing no-cost/low cost activities.

We'll support you every step of the way, and you'll get far more in return than you can imagine!

R****** is a 12 year old, African-American girl who lives in zip code 22408. She has been waiting over a year for a "Big Sister". She's not comfortable around dogs, so we're looking for a "no dog" household.

M**** needs a mentor who cares about M**** and wants to spend time with him. He loves being outside playing sports and is very active, extremely personable and loving.

B**** is an 11 year old boy living in Bowling Green. He has been waiting for his "Big Brother" for over a year, and just wants someone who enjoys being outside, playing basketball and football, and is willing to listen to him spin his stories. He is African American and doesn't care what color you are, as long as you're a "Big Brother" between the ages of 25 - 40!
